Today in class (1st, 2nd, and 4th period), students were introduced to two new fitness tests. Students performed 100 step-ups as well as the warm-up exercises for each test. Students learned the proper technique for both the trunk lift and v-sit & reach test. Then, they were given an opportunity to practice the tests within their groups. The official test for both of these will be performed tomorrow.

Students also turned in their vocabulary note cards.

Students in Coach Bray and Coach Patton's third period class did not meet today, due to the tripod survey. Tomorrow, these students will learn the proper technique as well as practice for both of the tests. These students will also turn in their vocabulary note cards at the beginning of class.

Reminder: students will need to have a white binder (1 inch or larger) for class... BEFORE FRIDAY! Students will be storing their Fitness Testing booklet and materials within the binder. There WILL be a binder check on Friday.
